Peter A. Robertson graduated from Glendon College of York University in 1971. He completed an M.A. degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Strategic Studies at the Centre for Foreign Policy Studies, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, in 1976. Mr. Robertson lectured on Building Contracts and Construction Liens at Ryerson Polytechnic Institute from 1979 – 1981.
He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1978, and to the Bar of Prince Edward Island in 2000.
In addition to his law degree, Mr. Robertson has completed basic and advanced courses in mediation under the auspices of the University of Windsor.
He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Hastings Law Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Canadian International Council, The American Academy of Political Science, and also of the Rotary Club of Belleville, Ontario, and the Warkworth, Ontario, Community Service Club.
